This is traditional and most famous kukri knife among Nepalese people. The name Sirupate is derives from "SIRU" (a kind of grass) which is very narrow and sharp. Unlike other kukri's the blade of this kukri is very narrow so this kukri is named as Sirupate Khukuri. This kukri is very famous in Nepal. 18" blade is made of Highly Graded Carbon with balanced temper on the edge of the blade therefore its very strong. 9.5" long handle is full tang style and is made of very strong Indian Rosewood. this kukri can be used for chopping wood, bone or cleaning bushes and all kind of domestic or backyard work. The scabbard is made out of cotton-wood wrapped with natural water buffalo leather which is dying with black color. The scabbard has a leather loop called Faraas with a frog which used to attach to the belt.
Karda & Chakmak: These are small knives come with Kukri. Karda is small knife used of skinning animal hairs and Chakmak is used of sharpening the Kukri blade in its blunt. When you bid or buy this item you will also get these two unique knives.
